The St. Clair County Road Commission has the distinct honor of installing the very first galvanized bridge in the state of Michigan.

Galvanizing is a benefit over painting because painting is environmental unsafe and is costly.  This galvanized bridge is guaranteed for at least 35 years to be rust-free and require no painting.
