The
Director of Engineering is responsible for all county road
construction engineering and inspection work accomplished in St.
Clair County. All federal or state aid or grants are
obtained and administered by the Director of Engineering.
Also included in the responsibilities are overseeing activities of
the Permits Department, traffic surveys, abandonment proceedings
and various road inspection functions for the Michigan Department
of Transportation.
The Director of Engineering reports
directly to the Managing Director.
