Construction on the Jeddo Road Bridge will begin August 11, 2008.  Construction includes removing the existing steel and concrete bridge, tree removal, removal of existing foundation, placing new concrete abutment walls, placing new concrete box beams, placing new concrete deck, installing new railing, rebuilding the road approaches on each side of the bridge and upgrading road drainage.  The road will remain closed to all through traffic.  The road will remain open to local traffic on either side of the bridge.  The contract completion date is October 10, 2008

Construction at the Lapeer Road and Michigan Road intersection is scheduled to begin the week of September 8, 2008.  Construction includes intersection widening for a center left turn lane on Lapeer Road at Michigan Road.  The road will be open to through traffic, however, lane closures and flag people will be needed to complete the construction.  The project is expected to last approximately four to six weeks.

Belle River Road just east of Riley Center Road will be closed to through traffic for cross road culvert replacement on 10/06/08 and 10/07/08.
