of Public Hearing for St. Clair County Railroad
Crossing Project
The
Board of County Road Commissioners of the County
of St. Clair, in conjunction with CN Railroad,
Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and
Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), has
prepared for public review an Environmental
Assessment (EA) for the proposed project to
eliminate traffic blockages caused by trains at
the highway-rail grade crossings of CN Railroad
with Michigan Road (south of Griswold Road);
Griswold Road (between Range Road and Michigan
Road); and Range Road.
Under Federal,
State and Local Procedures, an open forum public
hearing regarding the EA will be held on Wednesday,
May 14, 2008 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Port
Huron Township Hall, 3800 Lapeer Road, Port
Huron MI, 48060 concerning the social,
economic and environmental effects of this
proposal. Members of the public may stop
by any time during the scheduled hours.

will be publicly opened and read aloud.
